Black is Black (no metallic) and blends nice. The paint went on well, not sticky just smooth. I would have used the pen portion for this stone chip but could not find out how to use the pen as all my others the pen is on the bottom of the stick. This here instead of twisting the top off for the brush just pull and you will reveal the pen. With the container tightened back up I will see what the shelf life is....hopefully I wont need it again for a while.

    I decided to touch up my black handle on a magnetic sweeper. It had some scratches on the handle and since it is sometimes outside I wanted to do a touch up to prevent any corrosion. It worked like a charm! Now, as it is it is expensive for the amount you get but it works well for scratches. No doubt, that it will work on a car.

    It does take some care to do it since the brush takes some getting use it. As instructed, I shook the vial for more than 20 sec and then removed the brush. I stroked the area in one direction but to insure a good spread I had to repeat wetting the brush to get the coverage that was needed. I did initially just touch the area then stroked slowly downward. I made sure that it was thick as i could get it.

    The black colour blended in very well with the black handle with almost the same gloss.

    For me? It's a great colour match - but then I am driving a 2013 black Chevy truck. The original paint is just ordinary black paint. Not metallic, not metal-flake - just good old "plane Jane" black.

    And for my truck, this paint stick works great! I have always been a fan of the "pen like" applicators, as it does provide a much more controlled flow of paint. For small nicks or longer scratches, the metal ball lets you put just the right amount of paint, in just the right spot, without a big mess.

    As with other paint sticks, I find that making two coats is the way to go. The second coat helps to level out the paint in the chip, to the surrounding, original paint height. This is key for a near-invisible repair.

    To be fair, once the pen style of touch-up paint arrived, I never went back the brush. I never did have much luck with the brush, and they always seemed to last for the first use. After that, the paint transformed into a gooey mess, that never worked again! If I had a much larger area to retouch, I would drop into my friends body shop for a quick fix!

    Bottom Line - Good paint match for older Chevy truck. Easy to use pen, for small touch-ups. Also, an included brush for larger work areas - if you are brave enough!

    Color blended well with my black car. Paint was dispensed by a spring loaded ball point. It was the most pleasant to use touch up paint in my life. A gentle press dispenses more paint. After using, the tip can be cleaned off with a paper towel and a brand new clean dispensing tip will be ready for the next use. No more crusted dried paint on your touch up paint brush/tip//bottle.

    The quality of this pure black touch up paint is very good. The applicator is easy to use and the paint provides good coverage. I've found that the metal tip to be very effective when touching up most scratches. It is best to dab the paint into the damaged area and then with the brush end I remove pretty much all of the paint and use it to do a final spread of the paint that I've dabbed on with the metal end. The paint is virtually undetectable once dried. The only thing I find is noticeable if you look really close is the difference in sheen but that has more to do with my car finish being very old and has lost some of it's original lustre.

    This touch up paint is a good match for my older model black honda. This touch up paint is as easy to use as applying nail polish.

    The SNSIR pure black touch up paint for cars is a bit pricey but not unreasonably so.

    I recently tested the SNSIR Pure Black Touch Up Paint on a few scratches on my car bumper. I wanted to see if it could cover them without needing professional help.

    The pen has two tips—a metal one for small chips and a brush for longer scratches. I used the brush on a scratch near the wheel well, and after two coats, it looked much better. The paint dried fast, just like the label said.

    The bottle is small, so deep scratches might need more product. In bright light, the finish was slightly shinier than the original paint, but not obvious from a distance.

    My car is quite old, and it's seen its share of nicks and scuffs. Previous touchup paints I have tried only provided brushes. I was interested in this Snsir touch up paint because it provided a finer metal tip, like a pen, for smaller scratches.

    Luckily, my car is black, and while there are many variations of black, this one works fairly well with my car. With an older car, it's not so much about making it look great, but about keeping any scratches from rusting so that I can keep my car for as long as possible! This touch up paint is easy to use and will help me maintain the body of my car.

    I only docked a star because it's finicky, and takes a little trial and error, but it does work. It's essentially liquefied spray paint, it behaves and smells like it, but in a tiny container.
    It's finicky because it's liquid, so you have to make sure you get a fair amount on your brush (like a nail polish brush), and then dab it on. The more you get on the better, it'll be shiny ONLY if you don't streak it on. Dabs people, dabs.
    Is about as black as you can get so the color is accurate as well.

    I used this as soon as I got it lol all the scratches and Knicks from grocery carts and highway rocks lol this blends in all those spots very nicely I touched up my car and hid all those aggravating scratches and Knicks and I am much happier now it definitely pleases my eye more too.
    I will say wear gloves I should have but didn't and now have black finger tips lol but it works great and for the value I fixed my car myself without spending hundred of dollars so it saved me quite a bit of money and it blends very well you can't tell unless you know where to look and even still it blends very nicely
