    I was scared to buy this because of all the reviews, but as of september 2022, in Canada, there was indeed a water fill line, the packaging was sturdy enough (the cover actually ripped a chunk of the cup when removed) and the cheese didn't taste expired.

    The taste wasn't very strong though, but I was surprised to see how creamy it was (there were cheese strings when moving it around). Not very filling either, but at least it's different than Kraft Dinner. The pasta did stick a bit to the bottom.

    Fill to water line, mix well, 2 minutes in the microwave, mix again, and let it rest/cook for another 3 minutes on the counter.

    These used to be my kids favourite Mac and cheese cups but ever since they changed the package from plastic to paper, my kids won't touch them. Taste is now awful and almost every time you order them they arrive damaged or partially opened as the plastic lid doesn't stay sealed to the paper cup very well. I won't be buying these anymore.

    When I first tried the new cardboard cup, I wav very disappointed. The Mac and cheese isn't cooked properly in the new cup, following the instructions. I could have wasted time a product trying to figure out what the actual instructions should be now, but that's not by job. BUT, I did still have a few packets with the old cups, and pouring the contents of a new cardboard cup into the old plastic one, had perfect result! This was clearly a sloppy change by the company, who didn't bother to test the results of the change. However, if you can find an old package, you can wash and reuse the old cup with the new packages with perfect results.

    I like Annie's products in general, but won't be buying this one again. It comes in a pressed paper cup, with instructions to add water to fill line. I searched everywhere and couldn't find a fill line (assume it used to be on the older plastic pkg I read about). Guessed to fill about 3/4 full, seemed too much, ended up removing a bit after cooking. 2 minutes was not enough cooking time, was clumpy and mostly undercooked, ended up stirring vigorously to break up and cook another 1 minute. Added cheese pkg then had to stir like mad again to break up the clumps. Had to leave it sit a few minutes to thicken, which was to a rather gluey texture. Did not have much flavor, was warm and somewhat filling, but not something I'd reach for again.
