Customers like the fit of the belt, saying it fits perfectly and allows them to complete the mowing job. However, some customers have reported that the belt doesn't hold up well, shreds on the first run, and frays. They also mention the second belt lasted even less time than the first.
Customers are dissatisfied with the durability of the mechanical belt. They mention it doesn't hold up well, shreds on the first run, and lasts even less time than the first belt.

Out of the box, I could tell there was a weak spot on the belt but thought maybe it’s just the way it’s made. It lasted almost 3 mowing cycle. I’ll go for a more expensive belt next time.
The delivery right to my door was fantastic. The quality of the belt however was not. As I first put it on my Cub Cadet LT1046 the belt seemed more like spaghetti than a drive belt. It also seemed slightly too long and also slightly twisted. The tensioner pulleys would not hold it tight enough on the blade drive pulleys. I made it about 100 meters on my lawn before the belt spun off the pulleys. I put the belt back on several more times with the same result of it repeatedly coming off, even after installing a shorter spring to make the tensioner pulley apply greater tension on the belt. I finally gave up and purchased another belt from a local supplier. It was immediately evident that the quality of the new belt was much better than this one. It cost more but after putting this new one on the mower I mowed my entire lawn (about 2 hours of mowing) without any mishap. I definitely wasted my money on this purchase. The seller contacted me to say they would offer a full refund on this belt so based on that I gave it a 3 star (neutral) rating.
Good if all your pulleys are in good shape behaving well. However they do not hold up well to even one jump off. Cub Cadets are notorious for mower deck and drive belt issues.
I used this to replace the belt on my Cub Cadet (LT1045) and it has been working great. I bought the mower in 2008 and needed to replace the factory belt in 2020 and used this. Then, some landscaping string seized up the mower and caused the belt to spin on a few non-moving pulley's which melted it and I simply went into my 鶹 history, found this belt, and repurchased. That said, I don't know how long it will last but the first replacement was going on 3 years.
