I bought this kit for the rack mount option on the truck - overland kit fits the Prinsu platform rack i have. Like anywhere we have weak cell service spots. The kit is simple to install, high quality and..... it works! I went from 1 signal indicator on my phone to 3 in the first test. Huh....
I found a rubber grommet on the underside of the Tundra, poked a hole in it and got into the cab (cable run from rack antenna) without a drill. Once installed - sealed the grommet hole with silicone. Done. Carriage bolts work in the Prinsu rack by the way so bolts, nuts washers from the Home Depot will work.
Quick tip, measure your placement before you finalize with gluing cables down and all of that. You only have so much cable so take your time and think it through. Have fun.
