    Although the product title uses the word "Bey", these are NOT authentic Takara Tomy or Hasbro "Beyblades". These toys are called "Storm Gyro Burst". These look to be copies of the "Dynamite Belial" and "Guilty Longinus" designs. These look VERY similar on first glance but anyone who knows their spinning battle toys (my son) will spot the minor the differences in the colours, parts, and details.

    Comes with two string launchers that can have their directions reversed. They work well enough but they are squeaky and not nearly as smooth as the name brand versions. Still, was able to get some good launches from them. We've used many string launchers and we've never had much luck with them lasting too long. I'm hopeful these will hold up but I'm not expecting much.

    I know there has been a lot of talk of these non-official spinning battle toys possibly containing lead. I actually tried to conduct my own test with a kit I purchased on 鶹 but came up inconclusive (basically the name brand toys had the same results). I didn't trust the results of my test to make any opinion.

    If you're looking for a low cost entry into spinning battle toys then these are pretty similar but not exactly the same as the name brand toys. For us, all string launchers from all makes have eventually proven to be problematic. If you're a more than a light/infrequent player, you might might want to pick up an additional plastic ripcord launcher.

    For the bigger kids who are into beyblades and their unique characteristics, they may be able to spot the difference. It's not as sleek looking or defined as the Hasbro ones. Even i was able to notice it straight away since ive bought and used enough of these. For the younger kids (ages 5-7 I'd say) who just want to play, they truly won't mind since they are probably still getting used to these and they spin quite decently.
    I would shop around though before settling for these. The hasbro ones do go on sale quite often but if you find this to be better value ( if there's a seller coupon available) it will also work.
