    Great deal for the price. I have metal allergies, and grabbed these necklace cords so I could wear charms without having any metal touching the back of my neck. There's just the one jump ring that I used to attach the charms to the necklace. It's not the sturdiest ring, so I was able to manipulate it easily to attach the charm and put it back into place.

    I liked it so much, I bought another set, and will be slowly moving some of my fun novelty charms on cheap metal chains over to these cords. It's nice to have a comfortable way to wear them again!

    These are a good but not great option for attaching jewelry. With a few modifications, they can do the trick nicely (see below) for a reasonable price.

    The first thing to know is something that’s already been mentioned by other buyers: the metal ring used on the end of this to attach some sort of jewelry is not something I would depend on. I removed it and bought a miniature key ring to use for attaching jewelry and that did the trick.

    Second, these depend entirely on the integrity of two knots tied at either end of a long piece of string/rope. Several years ago, I purchased an almost identical cord necklace and attached a brand new piece of jewelry, only to have one of those knots come loose the FIRST TIME I wore it. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice and I lost the brand new piece of jewelry. So before you attach anything you want to keep, you need to take a set of pliers and cinch these knots very tightly to prevent them from coming loose and losing your jewelry.
