I am an experienced maple grower who wanted to find alternate sources for seeds and thought I would try these.
Planted on one side of a seed tray while I planted japanese maple seeds from another source on the other side. After cold stratification the seeds from another source are sprouting and doing great. Not one single sprout from the seeds from this supplier. Same soil. Same conditions I use to germinate all my maples. Pretty disappointing but thanks to my other seed source I will still have plenty of maples this season.
I wouldn't recommend these seeds. The consensus seems to be that these seeds are usually dead. Bad sellers are giving good suppliers a bad name and there's no way to tell them apart.
