Bought this to create long lasting manicures. Used an LED light to cure the base coat but after using the lamp for 120 seconds twice it was still sticky. After over 5 minutes of air dry time was still tacky and did not dry smooth. Used an alcohol wipe to clean off the sticky layer and it left a smooth hard finish which actually provided a great base coat for the polish I used and the top coat went on well - there was a bit of bubbling that I wiped off with another alcohol wipe and did a touch up coat. Will see how long the polish lasts but it seems fairly good for now.

I wanted to say that this base & top coat is great, because the first manicure I did has lasted 2 weeks already with barely any lifting peeling or chipping etc. I even used it to repair some cracks on the side of my nail, using a “teabag” method. This fixed the crack completely and imperceptibly!

HOWEVER, I went to fix another small crack on my nail (natural nails + assembling furniture & cleaning) and noticed a RIDGE where I had used the product. Weird, because the top coat was perfectly glossy and nice the first time.

A few days later, I needed to repair the crack again (didn’t use teabag method since I was going to do a new full manicure after 2 weeks anyways) but I saw that there were big HARDENED CLUMPS in the top coat gel bottle and specifically the brush itself!! I tried to fish the chunks out but it is not coming out and the stiff section brush is making the top coat completely unusable with ridges. I have only used this polish for 2 weeks, meaning 1 full manicure + 2 times for minor repairs. Just now when I tried to use it despite the chunks, I got a heat spike under my UV lamp and basically just wiped it off.
I don’t know what happened to it, because like I said earlier, it seemed to be a really nice set of base and top coat !
These nails have been painted for over 2 weeks already and very minimal lifting or peeling, it’s just too bad I only got to use it once before it got ruined. This sucks big time because TOP & BASE coat is needed for EVERY manicure, I can’t keep testing my new gels without it !

I used tweezers to pick out the chunks of gel, it seemed like the area around the brush stick itself had hardened and came off in basically a cylinder gel sheet. After fishing out the chunks, the top coat is working as it was meant to. I still think this is a good product, if the chunk issue had not happened it would have been 5 stars. After 3 weeks I was still not experiencing much lifting and no chipping.

I'm new to applying gel nails & base coat does a great job at evening my natural nail's surface. It holds on to the next couple of layers of colours very well (without base coat, colour pops off after 2 days of wear). Top coat's also very nice - does not require wiping as advertised (does not feel sticky after curing) however it attracks lint from fluffy things (blankets/pet) if you don't wipe after curing.
