Product Description
Is the TUUBER air admittance valve the right choice?
The TUUBER air admittance valve is the only patented dual sealing air admittance valve that offers 2x the superior seal to prevent sewer gas and odors from escaping into a home or building.
How does the air admittance valve work?
The valve opens to satisfy negative pressures that can develop in the plumbing drain system when the fixture begins to drain allowing air to enter the drain system. The valve two seals close by gravity at zero (0) differential pressure, and under positive internal pressure and in low-pressure conditions.
Where can air admittance valve be used?
The valve can be used in new or existing applications as a secondary vent alternative to a vent extended to the roof outside.
Features
- Fits 1-1/2-inch Piping Two Seals (2x the superior sealing capability)
- Triple Flow Passage ultra sensitive to pressure changes
- Automatically opens on system vacuum pressure to allow air in
- Closes by Gravity with Dual Seal Protection Capability
Air admittance valves can be used to vent branch and stack plumbing system drain in a home or building.
Dual Seal Protection Capability
How Much Protection are You Looking for from an Air Admittance Valve?
The purpose of an air admittance valve is (1) to provide a method of allowing air to enter a plumbing system as an alternative to a vent extended outside a building to outside air (2) to prevent plumbing system sewer gases from entering inside a building and (3) to protect against siphonage of a plumbing fixture trap.
The Valve Features:
The valve uses a patented dual seal utility developed to keep plumbing Drain, Waste and Vent (DWV) system sewer drain gasses and odors safely out of a home or building.
The valve also uses a patented triple flow passage utility that is sensitive to pressure changes allowing an upper seal and lower seal to lock out sewage gasses and odors.
- Exclusive triple flow passage with dual (2x) superior sealing capability.
- Un-matched increased flow attenuation.
- Sound open and close operation.
TUUBER PRODUCT LIFETIME OF RELIABILITY
Terminate the vent pipe with the only patented Dual Sealing air admittance valve available that offers 2x the superior sealing capability to prevent sewer gas and odors from escaping into a home or building, resulting in a Product Lifetime of Reliability.
Patented Triple Flow Dual Sealing Protection Capability
Gravity Close
The Air Admittance Valve has two seals that close by gravity at zero (0) differential pressure.
Automatic Open Negative Pressure
The Air Admittance Valve opens to satisfy negative pressures that can develop in the plumbing drainage system when the fixture begins to drain allowing air to enter the plumbing drainage system.
Positive Pressure Close
The Air Admittance Valve Force seal close under positive internal pressure.
