I set this up today. It looks as expected, perhaps a bit larger than I anticipated.
This requires two plug in's to run. 1 for the pump and 1 for the mist and light. There is no on and off switch for either so you need to have access to plug in and unplug it. One of the power cords is a nice length and the other is very short. this significantly limits where one can place it.
The water fall has a little sliding lever so you can control how strong the water flow is. I find at the lower setting it creates quite a bit of "water" noise. At the higher flow setting it is quieter.
The light and the mist is nice but there is no way to control the strength of the mist and within minutes the entire desk I set this on was surrounded in a puddle. I did purchase this to act as a source of moisture in my office so I will need to find a towel or something to set it on to prevent damage to the desk or anything else around it so I can use this feature intermittently...
Ultimately I won't take the time or effort to send this back, but honestly I would not purchase again as there are some major design flaws.
