    If doing exercises before knee replacement and after replacement this foot aid is the best. The shape of the item is larger than it looks. I wear a womans shoe size 9. I use it when wearing just a sock on and there is plenty of room to spare on the foot aid. When shoe is on there isn't as much room left. A person with a larger foot may not be able wear a shoe on when using it. My therapist commented that using this after knee replacement could be a replacement of the one done lying flat on back and bending the leg toward the seat. Two months after knee replacement I am still using this foot aid. You must be able to have strength in your hands and fingers to wrap the cords around them and strength to pull. Cords are long enough. I am 5' 8"
