Product description

seed weight: 0.2 gram Perennial spicy aromatic and medicinal plant 20-60 cm high. Leaves are small, fragrant, bitter-hot essential oil gives them a savory taste of onion and garlic. Young fresh or dried leaves serve as a seasoning for salads, marinades, pickles, meat and fish dishes. Grow through seedlings or sow seeds in the ground. For consumption in food, young leaves are cut during the entire growing season, the medicinal needs are removed in July and before the onset of frost. When using, you should remember that an excessive dose can cause poisoning.

    Common Rue seeds are medium sized (not tiny), round and dark brown. We had excellent seeds from Dmitri in Ukraine. They grew well. We then reordered twice and the order was "satisfied" by a US based "supplier" who initially sent "seeds" that looked more like grass seeds and then sent a packet that looked like it contained sawdust. These arrived in clear plastic pouches without plant photos. PLEASE Only buy from the Ukrainian company. The seeds will arrive in a proper packet with printed photo. The others were not what we ordered. This explains why the Reviews on here are 5's or 1's. The non-Ukrainian operation is hurting the Ukrainian real product.
