Set Up Drop In on Echo Show 5 Kids
You can use your nearest Echo device to talk through the Echo Show 5 Kids.
Note: Settings menu items for the Echo Hub and Echo Show 5 (all generations) may vary, and those devices will receive a software
update soon.
Use the Alexa app to turn on Drop In, and allow communication through your Echo Show
5 Kids device.
- Open the Alexa app

- Open Devices
.
- Select Echo & Alexa, then select your Echo Show 5 Kids device.
- Select Settings
and then select Communications.
- Turn on Communications. Then select Drop In, and select which devices can Drop In on your Echo Show 5 Kids.
To Drop In with any other Echo device in your account:
- If you're using Alexa+, say, "Drop In on [device name]." Or, select the Menu
icon on your screen, and then select Communicate
. Select Drop In, and then select your Echo Show 5 Kids device. - If you're using the original Alexa, say "Drop In on [device name]." Or, swipe down
from the top edge of the screen and select Communicate
. Select Drop In, and then select your Echo Show 5 Kids device.
