Text Description of the Button Layout
Hold the remote with the large circular button towards your TV and the smooth end towards yourself.
Starting at the top left and moving to the right is the Power, a small hole for the microphone, and then the LED indicator.
Below the microphone is the Alexa Voice button, which you can press to make Alexa voice commands. Below the Alexa Voice button is the Navigation Ring. Navigate your Fire TV by pressing up, down, left, or right on the ring. In the center of the ring is the Select button.
Next is a row of three buttons. From left to right, they are: Back, Home, and Menu. Home has a raised dot.
Next is another row of three buttons. From left to right, they are: Rewind, Play/Pause, and Fast Forward.
Next is a set of vertical bar buttons on the left side and right side with one button between them. The left bar is Volume Up and Down and the right bar is Channel Up and Down. The button in between is the Guide button.
Next is a row of three buttons. From left to right, they are: Mute, Settings, and Recents.
Finally, there are two rows with two App buttons each. Each button launches a preset app on your Fire TV. The preset apps may vary.
