Meet Your Echo Show 8 (2025 release)

The Echo Show 8 (2025 release) has the following buttons, indicators, and ports located on the front, side, and back of the device:

  • On the front of the device:
    • 13-Megapixel front-facing camera
  • On the side of the device:
    • Volume up and volume down buttons
    • Microphones & Camera Enable/Disable button
  • On the back of the device:
    • Power port

How to Set Up Your Device

  1. Plug in your Echo Show with the included power adapter.
  2. Select a device language.
    Tip: To continue setup in the Alexa app, you can scan the QR code on the screen with your phone. If you prefer to complete setup on your device, continue with the following steps.
  3. Connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Log in to your 鶹 account.
  5. Continue following the on-screen steps to set up and customize your device.

Note: If you don't have a password set, you need to set one for registering your device. Create a password using this link: Login & Security Settings.

Privacy and Support

When Alexa is recording and processing your request in 鶹's secure cloud, a blue light appears on the device screen. To enable/disable your device's microphones and camera, press the Microphones & Camera Enable/Disable button.

Note:

Troubleshoot Setup Issues

If setting up your device doesn't go as expected, try these suggestions:

  • If you get a login error or have forgotten your 鶹 account password, you can reset your password. Go to Forgot Your Password.

  • If you're having issues with your Wi-Fi password, contact your internet service provider.
