Pair a Phone or Bluetooth Speaker to Your Echo Device with a Screen
Pair Bluetooth devices with your Echo through on-screen settings. These steps also work for the Echo Spot.
- Set your Bluetooth device to pairing mode.
- Say, "Go to Settings," or go to the device settings on your Echo Show:
- If you're using Alexa+, select the Menu
icon on your screen, and then select Settings
. - If you're using the original Alexa, swipe down from the top of the screen and select
Settings
.
- If you're using Alexa+, select the Menu
- Say, "Go to Settings," or swipe down from the top of the Echo Show screen and select
Settings
.
- Select Device Options, then select Bluetooth.
Select Scan
if you don't see the device you're looking for.
- Find your Bluetooth device and select Connect.
Once the initial pairing is complete, certain Bluetooth devices might automatically reconnect to your Echo device when in range. If a device doesn't automatically connect, turn on Bluetooth on the device and say, "Pair Bluetooth."
