How Does Drop In Work with Alexa?
Drop In is an optional Alexa feature that lets you connect instantly to supported Alexa-enabled devices, like an intercom.
When you receive a Drop In, the light indicator on your Echo pulses green and the audio or video connection to the person calling you begins automatically.
Contact Drop In
Contact Drop In connects you to a two-way conversation through an Alexa-enabled device with an Alexa contact.
To use Contact Drop In, you and your contact must provide Drop In permissions. Then say, "Drop in on [contact name]."
