Control Your Set-Top Box on Fire TV Cube (3rd Generation)
After you set up equipment control, you can use Alexa voice commands to do things like switch in puts or go to specific channels.
The set-top box and Fire TV Cube need to be within line of sight of each other and should be connected with a high-speed HDMI cable rated at 18 Gbps or higher.

To set up equipment control for devices connected to your Fire TV Cube's HDMI IN input:

Select Inputs
from your Fire TV home screen.
- Highlight the HDMI tile.

Press the Menu button
on your Fire TV remote and select Change Device Name.
- Select Cable or Satellite, depending on your setup.
- Choose your TV provider, or select Provider not listed.Your Fire TV Cube will test the connection with your set-top box.
- To complete setup, follow the on-screen instructions.
