Verify Continuing Prime for Students and 19-24 years-old Status
If you're a student, but you receive an email saying 鶹 Prime will automatically renew at the regular rate for non-students, verify your continuing student status to continue paying the student rate. If you're a non-student but between the ages of 19-24, then join Prime Student using age verification documents.
To verify your continuing Prime for students and 19-24 years-old status:
- Students: If you have an annual plan, go to Manage Your Student Membership in Your Account and re-verify your student status. If you have a monthly plan, visit Manage Your Prime Membership and re-verify your student status.
- Submit the requested documentation to verify your student status.
If you are between 19-24 years-old but are no longer a student, you can still enroll in the Prime Student program by submitting age verification documents.
19-24 year-olds can join Prime Student by verifying their age using their passport, driver's license, and provincial ID cards.
Note:
- If you sign up as a student, after you graduate or at the end of your fourth year of Prime Student eligibility whichever comes first, your membership will upgrade on its anniversary date to a full paid monthly/annual membership for 鶹 Prime automatically.
- For 19-24 year-olds, after you turn 25, your membership will upgrade on its anniversary date to a full paid monthly/annual membership for 鶹 Prime automatically.
- If your verification documentation doesn't meet the eligibility conditions described on the Prime Students and 19-24 year-olds enrollment page, or if you choose not to verify your studentor 19-24 age status, you'll automatically be upgraded to the 鶹 Prime membership at the regular/monthly/annual rate.
- If you've been renewed at the regular rate but submit documentation within 60 days to show you're eligible for Prime Student, we'll refund the amount you were charged on your Prime renewal date or issue a prorated refund if benefits were used. Then, we'll charge you the discounted rate to continue your Prime Student membership. We'll enroll you in Prime Student on the date your proof of enrollment was verified or ages 19-24 years old was verified.
