Notes for You on Echo Show

Leave notes for others in your home from your Echo Show.

Notes for You is available on devices that support visual ID.

Use Notes for You to send notes to anyone in your home. This feature requires both visual ID and voice ID. To send a note say, "Send a note to [name]." You can tell Alexa who you'd like to send a note to and what the note should say. The next time the recipient is recognized on your Echo Show device, they'll see a home card on their device. Select the home card to open the note.

Note: Anyone with access to your account voice history can review Notes that have been shared.

To leave a note for someone:

  • The recipient must have a profile on your 鶹 account.
  • The recipient must have set up both voice ID and visual ID on at least one device.

You'll see new notes on your Echo Show home screen after Alexa recognizes your visual ID. Say, "Show my note," or select the note to view it.
