You can use the Network Status tool by going to Settings and then Network on your device. The Network Status tool lets you check things like:

• The network connection status, which is the connection between your Fire TV and router.
• The internet connection status, which is the connection between your router and the internet.
• A recommendation section with connectivity status and information on how to fix specific connectivity issues observed by your Fire TV.

Some compatible Fire TV devices have additional options, such as:

• The results of network download speed tests.
• An Advanced button, which shows detailed network information including data usage.
• A Run Speed Test button, with the option to run the speed test again.
