Wall Mount Your Echo Show

Use the wall mounting hardware included with your compatible Echo Show to mount your device on your wall.

Your Echo Show 15 or Echo Show 21 device comes with a power adapter and the mounting hardware needed to wall mount your device. You can also purchase a compatible extension cable for your device. Stands, under-cabinet mounts, and extension cables are not included with your device and can be purchased separately.

A wall mounting template and instructions are included with your device.

Tools You'll Need:

  • Electric drill with 5/16" (or 8 mm) drill bit and Phillips #2 driver bit
  • Hammer
  • Level or level app
  • Wall-safe tape
  • Included wall mounting template
  • Included wall mount and mounting hardware

Important: Read these tips before mounting your device.
  • Consider the height of everyone using the device. We recommend placing the device at eye level.
  • Find a mount location away from water or moisture.
  • Make sure there’s enough room to mount the device in either orientation.
  • Don’t drill holes over studs, electrical wire, or piping.
  • Before mounting, unplug the device from electric outlets.

To mount your Echo Show on your wall:

  1. Use the mounting tips and included mounting template to identify where to mount your device.
  2. Place the template on the wall in your chosen orientation.
  3. Use a level or level app to level the template, then tape the template in place.
  4. Use an electric drill with a 5/16" or 8 mm drill bit. Drill through the designated holes in the template. Remove the template after you drill the holes.
  5. Slowly hammer each of the four anchors into the holes until they are flat against the wall.
  6. Place the wall mount against the wall, then align the four holes with the installed anchors. Make sure the arrow on the wall mount is at the top.
  7. With the #2 driver bit, drive the screws through the wall mount holes until the screws are flat against the wall mount.
  8. Plug the supplied power cord into your device. Best to do this now, as it's harder to access the power port once the device is mounted.
Note: Don't plug the device into a wall outlet yet.
  9. Place your device flat over the top of the wall mount.
  10. Slide your device down. Make sure that all four hooks in the wall mount are engaged with your device.
  11. Make sure that your device is placed with the camera at the top.
  12. Plug your device into a wall outlet.

To change your device's orientation, unhook it from the wall mount. Remount it in the other orientation.
