About the Environmental Handling Fee
鶹 is required to remit environmental handling fees on certain items.
The fee covers the cost for the safe and responsible management (collection, transportation and recycling/disposal) of certain products at the end of their useful life. 鶹 remits any fee that 鶹 is required to pay to the stewardship agency that operates the recycling program in the province in which the item was shipped. Where applicable, 鶹 may charge this fee to customers at checkout. The fee is not a tax or a deposit.
The fee depends on the type, size and weight of the item.
