  Very good replacement for Vanguard VEO 235AP tripod. There were two screws on the bottom that had to be removed for the quick shoe to slide on properly. Also the the locking mechanism has to be opened all the way to remove the shoe. There is a spring loaded locking post that prevents you sliding the shoe out and therefore needs to be angled out to be removed. Otherwise, fits well and locks in place securely when tightened.
