  I purchased this to keep the squirrels and birds from eating the pears off my tree in the back yard. I liked that it has a remote and it says it's waterproof. The back cover is hard to get off to access the settings.
  I set it up and plugged it in and crossed my fingers. To my disappointment, it did not work 😕. I tried it at different heights, levels and adjusted the settings. The 15 pears I had growing on the tree have been all taken by the squirrels 😡. Now a month and a half later I own an item I have no use for 😕. Very disappointed.
