- Reviewed in Canada on March 6, 2025Pros: really convenient for outdoors. It鈥檚 really effective in terms of weight if you bring this for backpacking and camping. It comes with a case and a blade cover so you can put on your belt.
Cons: The hatchet is definitively small (which was to be expected with the description) but chopping wood might be challenging. The silicone cover broke from me putting it back on the axe at the wrong angle (see photos) but it could be because you鈥檙e supposed to keep the axe in the sleeve only and not the silicone cover. I find the file and knife are a bit hard to open (similar to an older swissknife). Also, I haven鈥檛 found the magnesium rod. And lastly, I鈥檓 not sure if I鈥檓 using it wrong but the whistle doesn鈥檛 seem to work.
