- Reviewed in Canada on March 14, 2022Very impressive boom arm at a shockingly-decent price! Using it with my Rode PodMic, which is a heavy microphone at over 2 pounds. The arm holds this microphone without any issue at all, even at full extension. If you're in the market for a boom arm between $100 and $200, this is a fantastic unit.
What I like:
- Very sturdy and very well built
- Very easy to setup and install
- Can hold heavy microphones (2lb+ Rode PodMic)
- Positioning mechanism is amazing (I move it back and forth dozens of times per day)
- Ball mount with 3 sizing options is very impressive and strong
- Cable management channel is a great addition
- Sustainable packaging
What I don't like:
- Screwing mechanism is unnessecarily long, making it difficult if you have a shelf built under your desk (could easily 1" shorter")
