  I had a big dent, followed instructions, make sure you tighten the handle and lower attachment with a vice grip when you assemble it so its snug with the rod, choose a blue pad that is appropriate with the surface you want to pull, apply hot glue to pad and stick it on the dent as fast as possible so its still sticky and adheres well to surface wait 30 seconds so the glue solidifies and then use the sliding weight to pull the dent, worked very well, you can hardly notice there was a dent, the most work was to take off the hot glue from the car's surface, be careful not to scratch the paint.
