  I liked the slightly larger surface area and that there are no sides like in the older model. Truthfully, however the surface cooking area isn't really much bigger than the smaller model by the same company. I love that I can whip up pancakes quick and eat with my family. Usually I am using a frying pan and make one or two at a time. This way, I can make about 8-10 at a time. Easy to clean. I feel that the heat distribution isn't perfectly even because upon flipping over the pancakes, there are light and dark spots....but it does the job.
