  Truthfully I bought this spray to try as a tick repellent rather than Deet - I saw a report on CBC that components in the oil have an effect on ticks being repelled by the oil. I’ve been bitten 3 times and Find it hard to convince myself to use Deet. I live on rural property with a constant presence of Deer. They are everywhere on the lawn as well as the fields etc. I really like the smell and hopefully with more vigilant precautions - always tuck my pants in my socks and check, check, check with the addition of the spray I’ll be tick free. I’m also glad it’s a Canadian company.
