I wanted a budget cam for riding on my motorcycle.
Test on the road will be tomorrow and i'll come to update this review but here are my two cents for now.

The overal image quality is good for pictures. (20mp)
Stabilisation is a bit weaker if u want to compare to a $$$ brand
Low light video/pictures show the flaws of the camera but its not a deal breaker and tweakable
In the waterproof case, sound is still captured but its really more quiet (will see on the bike)

You can add an external microphone, but it has to be the akaso one, I got myself one. The camera mic still record on the left channel while the external mic is captured on the right channel. Easily fixable in post process.

Since its an action camera, I wish there was a case that protect the camera lens and still give me access to the external mic plug, filming while riding makes me concerned about a bee or a rock hitting the unprotected lens

I gave 3 stars to the touchscreen because scrolling in menus isnt always that easy.

Overall, remember its 300$CAD (approx) cheaper than a gopro 7, and it comes with plenty of accessories to start with, including a remote

You have to buy a 64gb (max) class 10 memory card (15-20$)

I bought it to capture 1080p 60fps and not 4k, happy it comes with 2 battery wich should give me 90mins of footage per battery.

Remember the price you pay and you should be happy.

Hope this review was usefull, like I stated, i'll come back to update once test on road will be done.
I want test the wind reduction and overall sound capture with and without waterproof case and or external mic.
