That being said, the plastic seals in the hose fittings do not compress and seem to be very low quality. Any tension in the hose, the hose will easily unscrew and your freon will leak out. You have to keep checking the tightness frequently.
If you look at the male connectors on the manifold, you will see rough machining marks and damage from mishandling. Each time you connect the fittings, the seals get damaged a little more. I reached out to the seller about purchasing replacement seals and they have not responded.
It's considerably cheaper than a professional set and you have to work with that.Report PermalinkHelpful
