  First off, this is a great two way radio as it’s easy and quite to turn on and when you talk it does not make any sound when you press to talk or release the button after taking which I absolutely love for when I go hunting, the single potentiometer turn on/off and volume level control is a breeze to power on and adjust the volume level of these radios. Battery life is great so far and although I’ve not tested it over a great distance I’m happy with this low budget radios ! I only have it a 4 star due to the fact that I’ve not yet tested it over long distances.
