  Could not tighten height adjustment screw enough, stand keeps slipping down, screws very poor. Excellent weight, however, brackets at top of column that secure platform for speaker are made of plastic. Tabs in brackets that stabilize platforms both broke off when assembling ...... sent them back; a pity because they are nice stands but plastics parts are a major flaw.
