  Jeep 2013 Grand Cherokee (bottom of the range): sheer passage of time had corroded the contacts inside the fob so the the key no longer worked. I knew I wouldn't need a replacement chip so I ordered this fob (actually, there are two in the pack), swapped over the processor boards, and it all worked first time. I'm a happy bunny again
