Blade Runner: The Final Cut is the film as the director wanted it, so with this one you get exactly the vision he had, away from the pressure from executives and other higher ups of the movie industry.

This blu-ray version remasters the movie very well, and watching it before or after the recent sequel will almost make it feel like it was made around the same time, sometimes. The wide angle city scenes are especially overhauled visually thanks to the crystal clear images, and it doesn't look bad at all. Rachael has never looked as good as it did on this high definition format! I don't think they'll ever make a better version of this movie on physical format, unless we start having entire theaters at home, so I highly recommend it.

There's some bonus content, maybe not enough for a "definitive" Blade Runner experience, but enough to quench your thirst. This includes commentary by Ridley Scott in person who can accompany you as you watch the movie.

The only bad thing I have to say about it is that the movie launches immediately when you insert the disc. The menu can only be summoned later, and it's a bad menu at that. Navigating through it will cause confusion at first. Verily, blu-ray menus have absolutely nothing good to offer, especially when compared with early 2000's DVD menus. I really wish they could enhance this aspect in the future, and stop being lazy.
