  While pairing, the LEDs blinking don't match what the manual describes, leading to confusion and frustration. When I finally manage to pair two devices (Pixel Buds v1 and a Sony WF-C500), it felt like it was by accident. It worked, so I'd let it slide, but the bad experience didn't stop there. The sound quality was not good enough. It sounded over-compressed and poorly equalized. My wife and I use our ear buds regularly for media, so we know how good its supposed to sound. We both agree it was worse then we're used to during the movie. My wife's connection kept dropping, forcing us to pause the movie to reconnect her device. Her batteries were full, Bluetooth on her phone and other devices nearby was off, and the UGREEN device was charging, so it must have been some weirdness in the device. Last but not least, it lacks an essential feature for our use case: independent volume control.
  
  If your use case is watching media with another person without waking up the kids next room, I don't recommend it.
