  I have a logitech mouse M510 , where it stopped to work. trying to reprogram the USB with the unifying program from logitech showed that my computer does not recognize the old unifying USB anymore. Purchased this item , worked like a charm. It is also smaller , so less change of damage because it protrudes out less from my laptop.
