My toddler and 7 year old are obsessed with this toy and have found so many new ways to interact with it. I love that my toddler uses it to test what rolls vs what doesn't, and also that she can see what goes faster. It's great for building vocabulary like "ready, set, go" / "1, 2, 3, go" / up / down / blue / green / orange / fast / slow / rolling / stuck / line-up / push. It's moreso used for the "investigating" I mentioned or to race different types of balls than it is for the cars that came with it. Although said cars are great for road rugs and the perfect size for older babies and toddler to easily grip while they race around the room. I also love that the tunnel at the bottom of the blue spiral gets my kids right down to the floor to look for any rolling pieces that stopped in there, allowing for a great range of movement while playing with this toy.
