- Reviewed in Canada on June 5, 2025I liked it ! It still a low cost RC Car, but kinda fun ! I played with it in the front of my house, on the road and on the grass. It not super powerful, but it powerful enough to have a good time ! As the battery voltage lower, it switch to a slower mode. It still run ok on the road, just not as fast, but it struggle in the grass. I like playing 15-30 minutes, and I could get that with both battery in high performance. The battery are specific for this unit. You could probably retro fit something with that connector, but it not meant to use just standard RC Battery.
The brake are working pretty well... I'm not sure if it just motor driven or actual brake, but there is some hold so it doesn't go in reverse. It can be annoying at time, as you might press to go back and it doesn't do it, but overall I think it ok !
Lot of parts doesn't seem they are standard part that you can get to be replaced... It does have a manual with details informations of all the parts, but I'm not sure how easy is it to get replacement... But it still a low cost RC.
The remote feel cheap and empty... BUT it working really well and comfortable, as I didn't feel any fatigue. The think I think it great is the speed adjustment on the remote, which make it a bit safer for younger kids to play with it (or friend who just getting started). You could also lower the speed to increase your average run time.
I had a RC Gas Nitro car before, and sure my Nitro car was more fun (when it work), but this is so easy... Put the battery in, and you play outside in front of your house and no neighbor yell at you because it too loud (Well, they could do it, but it not that loud compared to a nitro).
The only think I don't like is removing and reinstalling the body to swap the battery... I wish it had a quicker system to put the body on. It not that bad, but just annoying with my big finger.
