  The bar is too thin and warps when heated even a little. It is good for little stuff like climbing, but not for anything beyond about three inches thick. I am so very disappointed in this saw considering it has a 16 in bar. The self sharpen chain is nice as long as it is clean. Uses a lot of chain oil, get a gallon before starting a big job. I guess that is why it is in the price range it is. I will be purchasing a gas power next with a better bar.
