  I purchased a Garmin G2 about 3 years ago, so when I needed another one for a second car, I got the G3. I like how it was updated to orient horizontally, so it was more easily hidden on the windshield. My existing Garmin app works for both, as I could just add another camera to the app. Easy to install and hide wires. My new car has wireless CarPlay, and I found that I had to turn that off as well as turn off my Nord VPN to see the live video from the G3 camera.
