Over the past few months my job profile has changed and now my job involves lots of clicking of the mouse and lots of click-drag-drop.
I was given a traditional mouse from my office to work with and just within 7-10 days my hand was feeling the consequences of holding my hand in a certain position to use the mouse and clicking extensively for almost 7 hrs a day everyday.
The bone at the base of my palm (where palm joins the arm) was already swelling and I had excruciating pain. Also, extensive clicking of the left button on that mouse had resulted in an overworked/ pinched nerve to a point where just moving the trigger finger was resulting in an excruciating pain shooting up my arm.
I had ordered a 鈥渃arpal tunnel wrist band鈥 which helped a little but that is when I saw this mouse under my 鈥渞ecommended products鈥 section.
I just felt I needed to try it out and ordered it.
The only word that comes to my mind is 鈥渁maaaaaazing.鈥
I had read reviews of people where the size of the mouse was a concern and it would be either too small or too big to be held in the palm and for some it was not effective at all.
But in my case, this mouse and my hands are 鈥渕ade for each other.鈥 It fits comfortably in the palm of my hand and is really smooth and easy with the movements. The click buttons are super smooth to click and mouse is very responsive to be dragged across multiple screens. The mouse can be paired with both macs and windows and that is amazing too.
It did take me 2-3 days to get up to the speed that I usually work at but my hand had adapted to this mouse in like the first 5 minutes of use. The pain in my bone is gone, the pain from the pinched nerve is gone, and I couldn鈥檛 be happier. In fact, the mouse has even increased my speed now due to the fact that it is super responsive.
Love it and recommend it if you use mouse extensively at your work!!
