  The foam is firm but soft, our baby seems to sleep very well on it. It has a soft removable cover that can be washed (we have not had to wash ours yet after several months).
  It fits standard size cribs and I like that when baby grows we can flip it over for an even softer side. Great value for a two-in-one mattress.
