  I had acheaper Fosi unit and it just died for no apparent reason, so decided to upgrade.
  Balanced in way better than RCA for my use as I have a pro sound card, no sense running crapppy cables.
  
  This is just for living room usage doesn't get pushed too hard runs my Paradigm passives at low to moderate volume, so far no issues. Not sure why previous Fosi died it always sat still and never got abused, but like I said it was one of the cheaper models so just decided to randomly die.
  So I bought this.
