  You will need 8 AA batteries (not included) total for these. The batteries in theory should last a long time unless you use these on a regular basis. It does come with a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Just make sure you do not lose the screw as the cover does not stay attached without it.
  
  The different colours and sounds make it easy to know who pressed the buzzer first. I do wish there was a volume button. The sounds are actually a little bit annoying after a while if I am being honest.. especially the siren. I get that you want different sounds, but not sure if I would have went with those sound choices.
  
  This isn't a bad product. It does what it is supposed to do. They are very versatile and you can find many uses for them.
