- Reviewed in Canada on February 28, 2020I bought these because I thought the would be perfect for my teething baby,馃懚馃徏 but I was a little disappointed馃槥 in them after a few months of use.馃搮 My first issue was that the chemical smell never went away.馃挩馃憙馃徏 None of the other teething products I bought have a chemical smell, so I am not sure why this one does. It has also lasted a long time. 馃槖
I purchase this because the shape, texture and size seemed perfect for my babies mouth. 鉁咅煒丼ome of the other teething products I have are awkwardly shaped, and my baby gets frustrated trying to get it in his mouth. However, although the shape of the keys are perfect for teething, these proved to be even worse then the other awkwardly shaped items for teething. 馃槫The reason is because there is multiple keys, connected on a ring. 馃So my baby has a hard time getting them positioned correctly in his mouth, the ring or another key always gets in the way.馃槫 My wife suggested we cut the ring so we can give him an individual key, and not multiple on a key chain, but I don't feel comfortable doing that because I think without the key chain and other keys, one individual key on its own could be a choking hazard. 馃槻鉂
There is a gel inside this key, so when you cool it in the fridge 馃馃ザit stays colder longer and makes it more comfortable for the baby.馃懚馃徏鉁 I still continue to use this product despite its drawbacks, but my bay never uses it for a long time like he does with his Sophie of other teethes.鈴斥彶 He tends to get frustrated and throw it away.馃懚馃徏馃槨Sometimes it takes him a while to get the hang of it, so I will continue to use it and update my review if anything changes.
I would not recommend this product, I think the multiple keys make it challenging to hold and get into his mouth, so he gets frustrated and throws it away. He has been able to get the hang of his other teethers, but after a few months, this remains a sub-par teether. Too bad because I really thought it would be great.
