  This IS baking squares and NOT chips - it arrived in untampered sealed box. I opened 4 random packages and everything looked perfectly fine, without any problems - smell is normal and acceptable. The 'use before' date is end of next year. This was a good purchase price point for me, as my area is a LOT more expensive for this, and I do a lot of baking. Product arrived in a very timely manner and without any issues.
