  Due to all the wild fires in Nova Scotia currently we decided to purchase this fire pit as a alterative when we are camping and there are fire bans. after reading some reviews was a little concerned on propane usage as I heard some fire pits are propane pigs. This unit was a great surprise as it gives off a good amount of heat all through you do need to be a little close to it in cool nights, and we ran it for 4 plus hours 2 consecutive nights on one 20lb tank and never ran out. mind you there is not a lot of propane left but was very happy with this. We ran it about 50% open on the valve which was prefect. A good amount of flame to give of a nice light as well. We even roasted hot dogs and make s'mores with it. I highly recommend this fire pit. It made out weekend camping.
