- Reviewed in Canada on April 16, 2025This light allows very granular control by DMX since it can operate in 3, 5, 8, 36, and 40 channel modes. This means that your computer or lighting controller can exercise very precise control over every aspect of this light and you can easily program it to do what you want.
The manual includes a very comprehensive DMX scheme table that shows how the light operates under each of these channel options and which values to send to the light to get to the results you want.
In the 3-channel mode, the light has brightness control for all three RGB channels. There is no separate white channel, but white can be achieved at any brightness by equalizing the RGB settings. The 5-channel mode adds master brightness and strobe speed.
You can also use this light without DMX control by means of the controls and menu display on the back, which allows a wide range of manual and preset control.
The power plug is a speakon-type with a pass-through built into the speaker for connecting other equipment. There are a 3-pin Dmx in and out connectors.
The light itself is very bright with a diffuser that speads the effect over a wide area such as a wall.
